A modern polychromatic mirror designed by Ettore Sottsass of post-modernism design, part of the series Gli Specchi di Dioniso produced by the Italian Company Glas Italia in Brianza, circa 2007. This piece comes from a private collector outside Milan and can be accompanied by the other two Ettore Sottsass mirrors in our inventory. The square mirrored plate is surrounded, to create magic and drama in refraction, by geometric shapes in burgundy red, yellow, orange colored laminated mirror and in white lacquered glass. It can also be hung from one corner. Signed on reverse. Glas Italia is widely known for high quality glass craftsmanship and celebrated collaborations with famous designers including Patricia Urquiola, Philippe Starck. Dimensions of the reflective area: 11.875 in x 11.875 in.
