Large Vase Johann Loetz-Witwe & Robert Holubetz school of Koloman Moser ca. 1901. The glass vase designed by Robert Holubetzexcels with its reduced and elegant form. Its floral appearance resembles a flower sprouting from its onion. Small ripples on the inside of the stem make the colorsand iridescence of the decor stand out beautifully. This vase was designed by Robert Holubetz and ordered by the Viennese traditional company E.BakalowitsSohne in 1900. Born in 1880 Robert Holubetz studied from 1898 to 1902 at the Viennese School of Arts and Crafts (Kunstgewerbeschule) and ranges amongst the most important pupils of Koloman Moser. The combination of its harmonic design and modern colors is almost iconic. These vases were produced in different heights -this is the largest- and can be found in almost every Loetz literature.
