A unique, eye-catching children rocking object made of high quality yellow fiberglass reinforced polyster. A design by Gunter Beltzig for Brüder Beltzig in Germany, made around 1960. Industrial designer Günter Beltzig designed plastic furniture, which are now considered classics and can also be found in the New York Museum of Modern Art. After working for Siemens AG in Munich for several years, he decided to design playground equipment, playgrounds and outdoor areas for children. His designs are colourful, playful and smart. Beltzig considered “play” a way for children to adapt to their environment and designed pieces that were designed to invite for play. At the same time, the designs have a high decorative value that will definitely draw the attention in the garden or play area! Combined with the other pieces we have available, they could create a fantastic colourful play area! This piece remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
