1970s Set of Two Verner Panton 1-2-3 Easy Chairs Produced in Denmark


Stunning set of two “123” easy chairs by Verner Panton, manufactured by Fritz Hansen in Denmark around 1970. The chairs have a round metal base and curved armrests. They are upholstered in the highest quality fabric. These comfortable chairs would make a great addition to any modern interior. In good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. Verner Panton (1926-1998) is considered one of Denmark’s most influential 20th century furniture and interior designers. During his career, he created innovative and futuristic designs in a variety of materials, especially plastics, and in vibrant and exotic colors. His style was very “1960s” but regained popularity at the end of the 20th century.
