Beautiful and elegant pair of French chairs; they are made of sturdy and precious oakwood; their structure is extremely solid, in fact, the back legs form a single piece with the backrest, while the armrests and front legs, even if they have a slim and pleasant design, are very compact and strong; the backrest is comfortable and has a delicate curvilinear shape; the seat is wide and comfortable also because the armrests are positioned in a practical and intelligent way; were created between 1930 and 1933 by a skilled master craftsman from Colmar, a delightful medieval French town on the border with Germany in the Department of Upper Rhine in the Grand Est region; the velvet upholstery with its delicate yellow color is still the original one and is in good condition, in fact, we have not decided to do any restoration because their authentic appearance and their slight imperfections make these chairs really seductive and fascinating and attest their antiquity.
