A pair of Chiavari chairs of ebonized mahogany with a high backrest, attributed to Paolo Buffa for Marelli and Colico. The chairs have a wonderful floral fabric seating. The slim and light chairs from Chiavari date back to 1807 and were the inspiration for Gio Ponti's 'superleggera' chair.
