Percival Lafer Sofa, Brazil, 1970s
A wonderful sofa designed by Percival Lafer, made in Brazil in the 1970s. The three-seat sofa is made of high quality, deep brown Brazilian hardwood. The comfortable seat, back and armrests are upholstered in high quality cognac leather, all together a creating a very nice harmonious design with a unique sense of luxury. The wooden structure of the base is constructed from straight, geometric shapes. It has a very comfortable seat, it is really as comfortable as it looks, and as a perfect finish the armrests have leather upholstery folded over the frame. All together this creates a unique, highly recognizable style and an amazing seating comfort. The sofa remains in very good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a wonderful vintage patina.
