Italian bench with a solid walnut structure with two inclined backs at the ends; the legs, elegantly shaped, are an integral and important part of the whole shape; very nice and particular is the brass protection at the end of the legs themselves; it was made in a workshop in Lissone (Monza-Brianza-Italy) between 1960 and 1963 (the area of Lissone has always been famous for the production of high-quality carpentry); The artisans were inspired by the desire to create an object with small dimensions, favoring the idea of comfort and intimacy, and have given the bench a timeless elegance; its contemporary design plays on the contrast between softness and rigor, softness and linearity; we can say that with its welcoming and enveloping lines, our bench interprets the spaces where elegance is at the service of leisure; the design plays on thin lines, where gentle inclinations and curves give a dynamic character to the object. The bench thanks to its compact structure can be an aesthetic and practical solution to complete your furniture; it is suitable for any environment, in the entrance, in the sleeping area at the foot of the bed, in the living room, in the study, and with its comfortable padding invites you to sit and rediscover the pleasure of spending comfortable and pleasant moments. We also provided to reupholster it, this work has been done by hand with skill and precision by an old master craftsman of Prato (Italy); we want to remember that the city of Prato is considered the largest textile center in the world, its craftsmen and companies, highly specialized, are a reference point for creativity, quality and excellence; for the restoration, we have chosen a robust and elegant black cotton velvet.
