Large wall lantern sconce designed by Adrien Audoux and Frida Minet, manufactured in France around 1960. This unique piece is very well crafted of beautiful rope, giving it an eye-catching appearance that would really stand out in any modern interior. In good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. Adrien Audoux and Frida Minet were very productive as a modernist designer couple during the 40’s and 50’s. Their work is based and related to wood and rope. The rope is used as a leading motive on every piece that they create.
