Stunning 19th century Italian fruit wood full Neoclassical style mirror.
A large and impressive mirror with a carved cornice with leafy bands and rosettes underneath. The wide top frieze with a band of palmettes framed by scrolled brackets. The surround on the top and sides with pendant fruit clusters and an inner surround of tiny bell flowers. The bottom with a band of flat squares and scrolls with palmettes in relief below.
This versatile antique French mirror would work well above a fireplace, commode, credenza, buffet or console table.
