Great example of a very early 1800s antique Swedish mora clock with hand painted folk art detailing to the body and hood This original early 1800s mora clock has a beautiful face with a clean patina, finely shaped body, and a carved base. The clock body is distressed as befits its age and has the usual wood movement found in clocks of this age. We will fit a battery chiming mechanism to the clock for you as the original mechanisms are very unreliable. We can do this without any damage to the clock and you will still receive the original clock mechanism separately with the clock to keep in a cupboard. You can choose whether to have one or two hands fitted as you wish. SwedishInteriorDesign.co.uk has been the leading specialist expert in top quality Swedish Mora clocks, Gustavian, Biedermeier and Art deco antiques since 2005 and have built up a worldwide reputation for our pieces with coverage in a huge number of international design and antiques magazines and websites.
