Antique Swedish Mora Clock Early 1800s Single Hand Grey White 200cm tall

£2.500,00

Great example of a very early 1800s antique Swedish mora clock with hand carved detailing to the body and hood as proven by the single handed mechanism common to the early 1800s. This original early 1800s mora clock has a beautiful face with a clean patina, top crown, finely shaped body, and a carved base. The clock body is distressed as befits its age and has the usual wood movement found in clocks of this age. We will fit a battery chiming mechanism to the clock for you as the original mechanisms are very unreliable. We can do this without any damage to the clock and you will still receive the original clock mechanism separately with the clock to keep in a cupboard. You can choose whether to have one or two hands fitted as you wish.
