A unique, very rare inkwell designed by Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann and manufactured in France around 1930. This unique piece is made of chrome plated metal with black glass. A beautiful, luxurious combination that works really well with it’s modern design. The two chrome balls at the sides are lids that hold cups for ink. The cups can be taken out for easy maintenance. In the middle, there is some storage space for small accessories. For example, difference pen ends could be kept there. This impressive piece would be a valuable addition to any office space, which is very decorative and also a great way to sign special documents. It remains in very good, vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use, preserving a wonderful patina. Dimensions: 66 × 26 × 12 cm (W x D x H)
