Finest Viennese enamel work from circa 1870
Metal body almost completely enameled; divided into numerous medallions with cupid scenes between baroque architectural elements, antique-looking figurative depictions in the center of the front and back of the Amphora; the scenes are framed by elaborate flowers and tendrils with heads; on the curved handles, sculptural shaping of two partly enameled busts; elaborate painting also inside the vase opening and on the inside of the foot.
