We kindly suggest you read the whole description, because with it we try to give you detailed technical and historical information to guarantee the authenticity of our objects. Beautiful and elegant decanter bottle; it was made in England between 1820 and 1824 during the reign of George IV; the crystal was completely cut and ground by hand by a skilled master craftsman in a classic, simple and straightforward design but with high-quality craftsmanship; the rings on the neck of the bottle serve as a handle and are also ground; the stopper was worked with an unusual shape and the special type of cutting and grinding gives it an excellent luminosity; the bottle is a typical example of the English Georgian style. Decanters were exhibited and used in aristocratic and bourgeois drawing rooms; in fact, wealthy families of the 19th century often owned several of these bottles, each dedicated to a different type of alcohol, predominantly, however, for wine and whiskey. Measures diameter cm.12, height cm.31. The bottle is in good condition. For all our shipments we use special packaging materials (wooden crates, styrofoam, etc.) for maximum protection and safety of the objects.
