Rare Goldscheider Ceramics of the 1930s
The standing young variety dancer is only dressed in high heels. Looking to the left over her shoulder, she holds a large fan in her right hand in front of herself, in her left she holds a long cloth to her hip, which, like a train, rests on the floor behind her.
On a black, grooved rectangular base rounded on one broad side.
Designed by STEPHAN DAKON (1904 - 1992), one of the most important designers who worked for the Goldscheider manufactory from 1924 until the mid-fifties.
Dakon designed this model circa 1928/29.
