Loetz Vase Form & Decor Hans Bolek 1915

€9.500,00

In 1909 Adolf Beckert was appointed as the new artistic director at Johann Loetz-Witwe glassworks. He was an expert for etched glass designs and invited many important Viennese designers to contribute designs for the Werkbund Exhibition 1914, amongst them Josef Hoffmann, Dagobert Peche, Otto Prutscher and Hans Bolek. The double-tipped heart shape was one of Boleks most admired decorations, designs like this are much sought after. The glass is etched and polished at the top and the rim.
