Elegant centerpiece ("surtout de table") in silver plated with blue opaline glass; on the triangular base four “puttini”, castings, are placed in a sitting position; the stem, also castings, is richly decorated with leaf motifs, the opaline blue glass has wavy edges and shades of green. The set of decorative elements in this centerpiece makes it a classic example of the Louis-Philippe of Orleans style. Produced in France between 1830 and 1850.
