This large and important mid 18th century Italian white Carrara marble urn shaped vases on faux marble lacquered wood stand are carved in a Classic campana shape. This truly magnificent and spectacular pair of Italian, probably Florence, Louis XVI period urns, coming from an Italian private collection, features a bell-shaped body lower banded with ovolo patterns. Each item stands on a round molded plinth with squared base final. New painted wood pedestals lacquered as faux marble included in the price. Very fine detailed finish, desiderable original patina, very good overall condition. These monumental neoclassical pieces would be perfectly at home as part of the interior or garden décor.
