Mora Clock Swedish White 1800s Antique Gustavian

£2.950,00

Antique Swedish mora clock from the early 1800s in white paint finish and simple detailing with an extended belly shape body and a rclean face in good condition. Measures: 206 cm. It has the classic extended belly of a traditional Swedish mora clock with detail on the body section and detailed pedestal carving. The clock body has the usual wood movement and distressing found in clocks of this age. Please note - this clock is WHITE ( not blue or grey) - the studio photo shadows make it look less white than it is for some reason the clock is sold 'as is' : as a decorative piece only with the original mechanism and pendulum but not guaranteed to be in working order - If you want it working we can fit a professional hi torque battery mechanism for time keeping ( +£295) or you can have a great sounding chiming mech which replays the recorded chime through a small speaker with a volume control and 8 hour night off switch (+£395) These don’t come about often so here is your chance to get a really special mora clock.  please note - wood is a live substance and may change shape when it moves to a new environment with a different median temperature and humidity after shipping. This may cause splits to occur in panels after the clock has grown accustomed to its new home Pre shipping prep time on this item is 18-21 days
