A beautiful glass bowl made of high quality purple / black Murano glass, manufactured in Italy, circa 1960.
The piece has a unique curved shape, the glass is molded with an exceptional eye for detail and quality. The beautiful deep purple colour of the glass compliments the design very nicely. The centre of the piece is very dark, almost black, and more towards the outsides the purple gradually turns lighter. The outer edges of the piece are made of clear glass, framing the shape of the piece as a unique finishing touch.
