We kindly suggest you read the whole description, because with it we try to give you detailed technical and historical information to guarantee the authenticity of our objects. Exceptional and original multicolored Murano glass vase; the shape, full of soft curves and rounded ends, captivates us with its unparalleled and elegant plasticity and lightness; the prestigious "reed" working (in Italian “lavorazione a canne”) technique makes this vase unique and inimitable in its colors, skillfully juxtaposed by the Master Glassmaker to be then melted, blown and worked by free hand. Small pieces of glass rods of different colors were carefully and precisely placed on the molten glass, then the whole thing was put back into the furnace so that the small pieces could amalgamate with the molten glass, at which point the Master began to blow the vase by continuously turning it so that the different colors were distributed like a psychedelic fluid in a harmonious way forming an amazing and magnificent artistic work. Objects made with this technique are always different from each other; you will never find two identical ones. In particular, this vase manifests that part of the craftsman's production characterized by regular and elegant lines, succeeding in linking traditional working with glass rods with innovative color play. It was created by hand between 1970 and 1974, a time when these kinds of objects were very fashionable and in demand, in a small kiln on the island of Murano. The Murano master craftsmen managed to master the colors of glass with their signature mastery, gave the vase a delicate and elegant shape, and elaborated and subjected the glass to their artistic sensibility, creating a unique and fantastic object.
