Pretty and tasteful teapot in Old Sheffield Plate, the body is chiseled with asymmetrical motif while the spout has a sinuous and refined chisel, the elegant handle is in wood, as was in use in the early 1800s, the border is embossed in silver leaf, moreover, the technique of covering the underlying copper with thin silver profiles is applied to the edge, a technique invented by Samuel Roberts & George Cadman in 1795 (“Silver Borders”), teapot do not present marks, but this is not a defect, since regulation of 1773 of the English "Assay Office" controllers, prohibited the use of the mark for all those objects that were not silver.
