Swedish Antique Mora Clock Green Early 1800s 210m Åman Arboga A

£3.500,00

210cm early 1800s antique Swedish mora clock with carved detail on the hood in a green paint finish and detailed face and hand painted detailing. Maker Named Åman, Arboga on face Measures: 210cm. The clock body is distressed as befits its age and has the usual wood movement found in clocks of this age. The clock is sold 'as is' : as a decorative piece only with the original mechanism and pendulum but not guaranteed to be in working order - If you want it working we can fit a professional hi torque battery mechanism for time keeping ( +£250) or you can have a great sounding chiming mech which replays the recorded chime through a small speaker with a volume control and 8 hour night off switch (+£350) or you can choose to have you local clockman clean / repair and set up the original clockwork mechanism at your location to get it going The battery mech change if you choose that option takes approximate 2-3 weeks. please note - wood is a live substance and may change shape when it moves to a new environment with a different median temperature and humidity after shipping. This may cause splits to occur in panels after the clock has grown accustomed to its new home
