Early 1800s Mora clock with stunning handpainted trompe l'oeil flower wreathes and patterns with sumptuous carved detail on the hood and plinth. This mora clock is a unique find, great shape and wonderful detail. Incredible to look at. It has a beautiful face with a clean patina and roman numerals and fine decorated patterns on the side of body. The clock body is distressed as befits its age and has the usual wood movement found in clocks of this age with a single split down the front. This can be repaired if you wish at no extra cost. We will fit a battery chiming mechanism to the clock for you as the original mechanisms are very unreliable. We can do this without any damage to the clock and you will still receive the original clock mechanism separately 'as is' with the clock to keep in a cupboard.
