Classic high-quality silver-plated tea and coffee set (Hard Metal), the oval-shaped pieces are embellished with elegant and elaborate engravings that frame the initials "M-G", the marks printed on all the objects belong to the George Shadford Lee & Henry Wigfull company founded in Sheffield in 1871, the production date is between 1871 and 1879 (see page 87 of "Sheffield & Birmingham Victorian Electroplaters Book of Marks" by Andrea De Giovanni). An ancient and magnificent service in excellent condition.
