Bernhard Hausegger studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts of Vienna. Lately he has been working with found chairs and tables, coating them with polyester, covering up the joints and screws articulating their structure. Under their synthetic skin, the furniture pieces gain not only a unicity they were deprived of, but also a candid and straightforward appeal.
