€310,00
Danny Rosen is named after Basquiat’s close friend and fellow regular on the downtown New York club scene. Alongside Rosen and members of the band Gray, Basquiat became part of the so-called “Baby Crowd,” known for their avant-garde style and high-energy presence, a vibrant reflection of New York’s creative underground in the early 1980s.
This print is produced on premium Monte Carlo 300gsm watercolor paper, made on a traditional cylinder mould machine by St Cuthbert’s Mill in Somerset, where fine papers have been crafted on the same site since the 1700s. Unframed and in excellent condition, it has been carefully preserved and will be shipped securely, rolled in a sturdy cardboard tube.
