Contemporary Italian tempera on paper signed Max Marra 2004(multimedia experimenter), tempera on a gold background. Max Marra was born in Paola, Calabria, in 1950. He moved to Lissone in the 70s and still works there. Artist of great vitality and expressive strength, he crosses in his evolutionary process the most varied ways of making art on paths of constant linguistic contamination. A multidisciplinary artist, since the 1980s he has directed his research towards the integration of drawing, painting, and sculpture using materials with a strong communicative value that are combined with the artistic language of the historical avant-garde and are reflected in the expressive roots of European art. Fitta is a series of presences in national and international exhibitions, as well as numerous personal exhibitions at public institutions and private galleries in Italy and abroad. His works appear in prestigious public collections and museums such as, among others, the Banca di Credito Cooperativo di Carate Brianza, Lecco, the Civica Galleria d'Arte Moderna di Gallarate, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Lissone, the Michetti Museum of Contemporary Art in Francavilla al Mare, the Duta Museum of Arts Jakarta, Indonesia and the Museum of Arts Guangzhou, China. In 2017 he was awarded the "Award Certiluxe" for Art, a prestigious international recognition for his artistic career, and his research always oriented to quality and innovation.
