Hugo Scheiber (1873-1950) was a Hungarian painter of Jewish origins. He started as a self-taught artist. He was initially inspired by Impressionism before evolving towards Expressionism. His style can be described as urban and colorful. Influenced by the European Avant-Garde and Art Deco, his work reflects the vibrancy of modern life, particularly through portraits, dynamic scenes, and abstract compositions conveying intense emotions.
