A beautiful swivel desk chair, model “3217”, designed by Arne Jacobsen and manufactured by Fritz Hansen in Denmark around 1960. This highly recognizable piece has a chrome plated tubular metal base on wheels. The rounded design of the seat gives it a very nice appeal as well as seating comfort. It has a new, black leather upholstery to the seat and armrests which compliments the style really well. This combination of elegance with modern design, is what makes this chair a highly recognizable Jacobsen design. An inviting and most recognizable piece of Danish design that would be a truly valuable addition to any interior or office space! It is adjustable in height making it a versatile piece for many different settings. The piece remains in very good, newly upholstered condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. The upholstery was professionaly done with G&H leather Casa Bottle, finished and stitched by hand according to the original standards. The frame and bolts are all original.
