1950s easy chair AP 14 white canvas Pierre Paulin for A. Polak Netherlands

€2.500,00

Dating from the 1950s, this AP 14 easy chair was designed by Pierre Paulin for A. Polak, Netherlands. It is an elegant example of Paulin’s early work, reflecting his distinctive approach to combining sculptural form with exceptional comfort. The generously shaped seat and softly curved lines create an inviting silhouette, while the white canvas upholstery gives the chair a refined and understated appearance. The design demonstrates Paulin’s ability to transform a functional piece of furniture into a graceful sculptural object. With its restrained colour palette and characteristic mid-century proportions, this rare chair would make a sophisticated addition to a carefully curated interior or collection of Dutch design. There are two very small marks on the upper part of the backrest, which are barely visible; a photograph of these marks is included for reference.
