A “Bambole” two seater sofa designed by Mario Bellini and manufactured by C&B Italia in Italy, 1970.
Fully upholstered in high quality brown leather, this playful sofa combines style with seating comfort in a way fitting for many different kinds of decors. Manufactured by Piero Ambrogio Busnelli and Cesare Cassina’s C&B Italiam (later: B&B Italia), it is an important piece of Italian design history that was awarded the Compasso d’Oro prize in 1979.
The piece is labeled underneath, tagged at the side and marked in the lower corner of the upholstery, as show in photos.
It remains in good, vintage condition with original upholstery with wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
