Very rare set of 10 1960s dining chairs designed by CARL-EWERT EKSTRÖM for Johansson & Söner. Superb find - these are very unusual pieces and in good structural condirion with wood stained beech frames and faux leather upholstery. Its extremely unusual to find CARL-EWERT EKSTRÖM designed dining chairs with arms. These really are classic mid century modern MCM pieces. Very elegant A frame legs and distinctive curved seat back with a delicious level of workmanship. The beech frames will be acquire a super lustre on refinishing. They will ship as follows - 9 in the original black faux leather fabric (which contains marks of use and lots of wear ) and one in a different green fabric. You must change all the fabric on arrival as it has wear - we can reupholster if you provide the fabric for an extra cost and we will also wax them and smarten them up for you prior to shipping. The images shown show the chairs before they are repolished so they will acquire a deeper lustre when fully redone which may change the colour slightly. The images are taken in studio lighting and the colour is indicative only as the french polish finish will show slightly different colours depending on the lighting you set it in due to the reflective quality of the french polish.
