An eye-catching “Puzzle” coffee table, model TB 14, designed by Cees Braakman and manufactured by Pastoe in the Netherlands around 1950.
The table is made of high quality birch wood in a nice, light brown colour. It contains two interlocking parts. When placed together, they fit seamlessly against each other to create a nice rectangular coffee table. When seperated they make a nice matching set that is suitable for many different situations as well! An innovative design that still fits perfectly in the modern day design interiors. The curved plywooden legs are iconic for Braakman’s birch series and makes this table a fantastic find of mid-century Dutch design that will definitely draw the attention of any design enthusiast!
This unique piece remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
