A beautiful set of six fiberglass DSW chairs designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller. Offered in black color. One of the most recognized designs of the early modern design movement. The Eames’ are known for their groundbreaking designs and production processes. These chairs are perfect examples of efficient use of material and ergonomic design. These chairs are very comfortable. Labels in tact on four of the six chairs. The Eames Molded Plastic & Fiberglass chair is a fiberglass chair, designed by Charles and Ray Eames, that appeared on the market in 1950.[1] The chair was intentionally designed for the International Competition for Low-Cost Furniture Design. This competition, sponsored by the Museum of Modern Art, was motivated by the urgent need in the post-war period for low-cost housing and furnishing designs adaptable to small housing units.
