CU07 Cabinet by Cees Braakman for Pastoe, Netherlands 1950
€2.250,00
SOLD
A beautiful cabinet, model CU07 from the Japanese series designed by Cees Braakman, manufactured by Pastoe in the Netherlands around 1950.
This iconic and much sought-after piece of Dutch design is made from the highest quality teak wood on a black lacquered metal base. It has square black grips, giving it a highly recognizable, eye-catching appearance. It would make an outstanding addition to any Mid-Century Modern interior. The piece has several doors and shelves including two white laminated drop down doors, providing plenty of storage space. A lovely addition to the decor!
It remains in good, original vintage condition with some user marks and wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. As shown in the photos, there is a slight height difference in the middle lower doors that makes the handle slightly uneven. There is also some wear to one of the laminated drop down doors, also shown in photos.
