Hans Brattrud ‘Scandia’ Lounge Chair in rosewood for Hove Møbler 1957
€6.300,00
SOLD
This chair was part of the Scandia series, designed by Norwegian designer Hans Brattrud and produced by Hove Møbler. The chair is executed in bent rosewood and metal. The seating consists of curved and bent slats of rosewood plywood. Through this combination, an elegant and modern lounge chair in warm rosewood is created. This slatted chair shows an interesting ‘hairpin’ frame of bent metal. Combined by horizontal cross-connections to keep the slats in place and form. The warm colors of rosewood combine beautifully with the patinated metal frame. Part of the permanent collection of the design collections, Nasjonalmuseet, Norway.
