This simply stunning 19th century Tuscan large oval dining room table has a gorgeous shape, thanks to its soft and sober lines- typical of the Directoire and Empire period- is a timeless piece. Exceptional warm wood color, grain and surface. The highly figured cherrywood top is framed by a strip of ebony wood banding inlay atop a simple apron with geometric ebony carvings on the band at the legs, finished with a cherrywood border. The legs also are enriched by inlaid black ebony details framings. Perfect to host six people, you can have up to eight or ten seats thanks to its tapered and flared form legs . Very comfortable stabile and sturdy. The table's fantastic shape, its sober line and its precious woods make this table perfect with any kind of furnishing. Very good condition, minor wear on top due to age and use as the image shown, beautiful and rich original patina, wax hand polished. Dimensions: W. 250 cm, D. 125 cm, H. 77 cm.
