Italian Modern Tube Chair by Joe Colombo for Flexform

Early and original vintage style icon of the 1960s and 1970s by Joe Colombo in beautiful original condition. The Tubes can be joined in different combinations and fit one into another so that the whole chair fits into its drawstringbag.
Covered polyurethane foam upholstered, lacquered "arcipiuma" cylinders with tubular steel and rubber connecting joints.
The original black synthetic upholstery shows a nice patina and still remains without cracks or holes, please have a look at the photos.
The Chair is made up entirely of synthetic materials reflecting an increased interest in man made materials in domestic environments that became popular this time.
