A rare vintage Berber rug from the 1960s-1970s.
This stunning abstract design Berber rug was made in the late midcentury epoche. It has fantastic shiny and soft wool. It was hand knotted by women from the Atlas mountains. From the knot structure it is most likely to be made from the Beni Ourain tribe.
The soft and warm color has variations of gold, orange and brass brown tones from the natural vegetable dyes. The condition is very autentic and nice. It has expected patina, faded colors and old restorations. In some areas low to missing pile.
