A fantastic 12-piece modular sofa, model Systema 61, designed by Giancarlo Piretti and manufactured by Anonima Castelli in Italy around 1970. This iconic piece is a highly recognizable and much sought after piece of mid-century design! It contains a total of 12 elements: 5 seat elements, 6 back elements and one corner-back element. The modular system of the sofa makes it possible to arrange the piece completely to your liking or even split it up into different smaller seats. Together with the green fabric upholstery this is a true statement piece for any interior! The mentioned measurements are per seat-back combination. Sold as a whole – the price is for all twelve elements together. The set / sofa remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. There fabric has some discoloring and a few small stains as shown
