“Oyster” Chair by Pierre Paulin for Artifort, Netherlands 1950

€2.200,00

SOLD
This eye-catching lounge chair, model “Oyster”, is an iconic piece designed by Pierre Paulin for Artifort in the Netherlands around 1950. It has a very inviting appearance: the seat is a big shell with a slightly tilted seat for maximum seating comfort. The large seat is newly upholstered in beautiful quality grey fabric, which creates a nice harmony with the narrow, tubular metal base. It combines modernism with luxury and this chair will definitely make a great addition to any decor! It remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
