A very rare of lounge chairs, model “1590”, manufactured by Fritz Hansen in Denmark around 1940.
This iconic set is made of high quality wood with a wonderful curved finish. It has spokes to the back with a wide, nicely detailed center. The seat and armrests are curved, creating harmony in the design as well as a comfortable seat. Together with the thick cushions for seat and back, this chair excels in comfort! Upholstered in impressive alcantra upholstery in matching warm colours, they both have their own unique style while being beautiful together as well.
Sold as a set, the price is for both chairs together!
The set remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
