A pair of easy chairs, model PK22, designed by Poul Kjærholm, original designed in 1956 and manufactured by Fritz Hansen in 2005. The chairs are with original upholstery in cognac/stone-red classic leather and are in great vintage condition.
Both chairs are stamped by Fritz Hansen.
The PK22 Lounge Chairs are an iconic representation of Kjaerholm's minimalist approach, where the marriage of steel and leather achieves a perfect balance between form and function. The sleek steel frame supports the comfortable leather seat, creating an aesthetic that effortlessly merges comfort and style.
The chairs consisted of a spring steel structure-one pair each of legs, crossbars and side frames-joined with machine screws and covered with leather. In the leather version, the seat and back were fitted with a laced canvas underlayer to provide support
