A beautiful lounge chair from the Parallel Bar series, designed by Florence Knoll and manufactured by Knoll International in the United States around 1960.
The piece has a very nice chrome plated metal base with black metal support bars. The seat and back is gently tilted and follows a slightly different direction from the base, creating a beautiful style! This chair is upholstered in a very appealing grey / purple upholstery, which compliments the metal frame really well. Also, the seat is really comfortable! An iconic piece of design that will a truly valuable addition to any decor and definitely draw the attention of any design enthusiast.
It remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
