Piero Fornasetti Style High Cupboard Featuring the Medieval Twin Towers
price upon request
Amazing and very unusual cabinet or cupboard in the style of Piero Fornasetti. Beautiful inlay fish bone patterned rosewood and in the middle two doors with original key featuring the famous medieval Twin Towers of the town of San Gimignano in Tuscany, Italy. The ebonized legs are beautifully carved and fitted with copper caps. The upper face of the piece is finished with an opaline glass top. The interior has 4 glass shelfs and is painted in a beautiful Italian red color. There are many beautiful details , like the subtle sun ray striped glass panels on each side of the doors and the two interior lights that are fitted with colourful Mondriaan style acrylic shades. This gives the piece an absolutely astonishing fairy tale-like look and feel. It is professionally cleaned and waxed and is in mint condition. All in all this is a truly stunning piece that can be an impressive centre piece in any style interior.
