A beautiful PK20 highback lounge chair, designed by Poul Kjaerholm and manufactured by E. Kold Christensen in Denmark around 1960. This very rare chair is guaranteed to draw the attention of any design enthusiast! It has a beautiful chrome-plated metal base in an elegant curved shape. The seat is upholstered in beautiful cognac leather, creating a very nice contrast with the bright material of the frame. The cylinder neck pillow is upholstered in the same material and provides extra comfort to this already very comfortable chair! The slightly backwards tilted shape and low seat all add very nicely to the seating experience. The chair has the manufacturer’s mark carved into the frame, as shown in the photos. Also included is the label of the famous auction house Bruun Rasmussen, were the previous owner purchased this piece, is still taped to the frame! It remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina!
