An eye-catching “Signora Chan” lounge chair with matching ottoman, designed by Carlo Forcolini and manufactured by Alias in Italy around 1980. The black lacquered metal frame is nicely bent shape to create a modern yet elegant style to this chair. The seat and back are made of three elements, each upholstered in beautiful light beige / grey fabric. The contrast between the light fabric and dark frame works really well for this design! The matching ottoman has the same curved design and materials and contains an additional foot rest as well. All together this piece is a fantastic find with an excellent seating comfort! The sizes of the chair are W. 89 x D. 85 x H. 90 (SH. 36) cm The sizes of the stool are W. 60 x D. 56 x H. 46 cm The set remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
