Unique Mid Century design Italian sideboard/credenza by the Architect Giacomo Sinopoli as designer, in rare solid palm wood, with an orientalist Chinese style, high quality of execution with a central door and four drawers on each side, decorated with handles that are hand-cast bronze sculptures of oriental inspiration, entirely edged with brass bands, clad in bamboo veneer and superbly finished also on the back so that it can float in a room and serve as a divider. This cabinet is accompanied with letter of provenance from the architect’s niece who received this piece in this unique natural finish from his uncle for a personal recurrence. Giacomo Sinopoli was more into architecture but designed an exclusive documented collection in the 1970s for the Roman Company Liwan’s. His furniture pieces are rare on the market.
